About Us
Seminars in Hearing ; Our Story
Seminars in Hearing was founded in 2007 by Allen and Cathy Senne. The original Fall Research Forums were 1 day events presented at the House Ear Institute lecture hall, with 30-50 attendees. The presenters were primarily researchers at the House Institute. Over the years the Forum outgrew the lecture hall, with over 160 attendees last year at Cal State Northridge. Due to the changes in CEU requirements, the Fall Forum is now a 2 day event to allow for full California State CEU completion.
Our Mission
Seminars in Hearing
was formed to present a high quality CEU conference for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and physicians. We are dedicated to providing relevant, thought provoking and state of the art research in hearing healthcare in a pleasant and stimulating environment.
The Courses presented at the Fall Research Forum are all approved by the California State Hearing Aid Dispensers Examining Committee and SPAB, and qualify for State CEU completion.
